Myke Young, the eternal 19-year-old, is here to do some card trading!
My name is Michael J. Young, from El Paso, Texas. I collected cards from 1959 to 1965; God bless my mom, who gave me a place to save them! I got back into the hobby in 1984.
My Trading Mojo
I started doing online trading as an independent, and have since become a member of Vintage Card Traders. I don't have huge amounts of cards to trade, and most of my trading inventory would be commons or minor stars. Since I already have a number of vintage sets, my orientation has been to trade quantities of cards to set or "team set" builders in return for lesser quantities of star or minor star players. But this is not written in stone. Since many traders may not have the "bigger names" for trade, I am constructing an ongoing want list to give potential traders a wider berth for perusal.
There are certain cards that interest me in addition to the ones on the numbered lists below. These include:
*Major Red Sox players from the 1950s and 1960s. I especially need examples of Bobby Doerr, George Kell, Harry Agganis, Mickey Vernon, Jim Pagliaroni, Pumpsie Green, Gene Conley, Don Schwall, Tony Conigliaro, Wilbur Wood, George Scott, Elston Howard, and Sparky Lyle. I would only like cards of these gentlemen that portray them in Red Sox uniforms. I am also seeking Keith Foulke cards from 2004 or 2005.
*Major New York Yankees from 1950-1966 -- only in their Yankee uniforms, please. I would especially like examples of Yogi Berra, Roger Maris and Bobby Richardson. This would likely involve substantial trades.
*Elston Howard 1956, 1958-61, 1966, 1968
*Carl Yastrzemski 1960-62, 1965
*Pete Rose 1963-65, 1967, 1972, 1974-75, 1984 Donruss
*Nolan Ryan 1968-69, 1971-72
*Reggie Jackson 1969, 1971, 1974
*Jim Rice 1976
*Cal Ripken, Jr. 1983 Fleer, 1984 Fleer
*Dallas Cowboys from the 1960s
*Major Dallas Cowboys names from the 1970s
*Bart Starr 1957-70
*Bob Griese 1968, 1970, 1973-77
*John Elway 1986
